On Saturday morning, as part of the JP Spata Democratic Club’s first in person Breakfast Meeting since the scourge of COVID, we honored Joy Flynn’s long years of service as the Club’s President.
She personifies excellence in everything that she does.
Several Club members paid tribute to Joy with poignant expressions of homage including a clever song and a silly poem.
Carolyn Sheehan, the current Club President, set the agenda for the celebratory breakfast and everything went smoothly from start to finish.
Of course, Joy was the star of her own show.
And the show goes on…Joy is still on the Club’s Board.
