A mainstay of Long Island radio shows, WRIV 1390am’s Dawn Patrol interviewed Karen Sartain. Bruce Tria spoke with Karen about her 30-year record as an experience lawyer, her work as Staff Attorney for the Legal Aid Society in Southampton, and her Town Board appointment this past January. Despite heightened public health concerns due to Covid-19, Karen remains upbeat about how to “humanize” the local court experience. “There’s no reason to make it intimidating …” says Karen (unless that’s needed). Her experience as both a Judge and as a lawyer means she is fair to everyone who comes into her courtroom— litigants, attorneys, and Court staff.
