Bridget Fleming has been a resident of the Town of Southampton since 2001, when she moved here with her husband Bob to start a family. Fleming graduated from law school in 1991. As a student, she was recognized both for her academic achievements and for her outstanding contributions to the community. After graduation, she worked as an assistant district attorney in Manhattan, where she ran the office’s Welfare Fraud Unit, which investigated and prosecuted fraud in public programs.
Since leaving the D.A.’s office in 2001, Fleming’s legal work has included real estate, land use, and zoning law, as well as professional mediation. She recently launched a law practice in downtown Sag Harbor, specializing in family and criminal law. As a Southampton resident, she has been a member of the Noyac CAC. Her son Jai, now six, will soon enter first grade at Sag Harbor Elementary School.
